One of the most frequently asked questions I get is, "What
do I do after I have finished the energy clearing process. What
do I work on next?" Once you have cleared all the accumulated
emotional patterns that you created due to misperceptions that
you have had, the next step is to work on the perceptions themselves.
You need to adjust your misperceptions to correct perception.
Our perception is the story that we tell ourselves about the world.
None of those stories are true in an absolute sense, but some
are more correct than others. Correct perception is the story
that is in alignment with Universal Law, which is love. Misperception
is any story that is a distortion or a deviation of love.
How do we correct perception? How can we identify what correct
perception is? Byron Katie, in her national bestselling book
Loving
What Is, invites you to ask your story four
simple questions and then turn the story around to investigate
its reverse.
1. Is it true?
2. Can you absolutely know that it is true?
3. How do you react when you think that thought?
4. Who would you be without that thought?
Turn your story around.
I would like to thank my friend Julie Anderson in Austin, Texas
for suggesting this book to me and for her reminders, which eventually
led me to read it. Katie's book is exactly the piece I need to
compliment the work that I do. The best part was that I didn't
have to write it. She already did! Using inquiry to illuminate
our misperceptions leads to correct perception. With the best
teacher in the world, yourself, you recognize the truth of a situation,
which brings you into acceptance and appreciation of what is.
Reality is and it is only your disagreement with what is that
causes your pain. Loving what is, loving reality, is correct perception.

Adjusting your current perceptions is much easier once you have
finished clearing your energy body of emotional patterns. Those
patterns have indirectly led to your misperceptions in the first
place, by their reflections into your life. People and situations
bring your emotional patterns to the surface for you to release.
Once you have cleared your energy body of this emotional debris,
you are then ready to look at the associated thought patterns.
Healing perception is about recognizing that your story of the
world is a reflection of who you think you are. If you are fearful,
than the world seems to be a fearful place. If you are at peace
within your self, than the world you see will reflect that as
well. Your conflict, your war, is always with yourself. It is
never with anyone else!
