A Soul Journey (a fiction)
![]() |
In the beginning was the Void and I worked in the Void, creating
the blueprints for a galaxy in accordance with the directions
of the Father. My name is Isa and I am a Master Builder, a galactic
architect. My assignment was to design the Sunshine Galaxy. For
eons I worked in darkness, laying the foundations for the flow
of Spirit, which was to come. And when it came, it moved along
pathways I had woven, like a river of light. It flowed into the
channels I had designed and exploded into spheres of dazzling
brightness, creating a galaxy of a billion suns. Its beauty was
breathtaking and I was honored for my work and my patience. I
was bestowed the title of "Isa the Great" for my accomplishment
and I was proud of my title and of the beauty I had helped to
create.
There was much to do and my attention was focused on the tasks
at hand. Since the separation, we had worked for the glory of
God. His vision was our vision and his plan, our plan. The great
unfolding had commenced. From a single burst in the Void, it spread
outwards in all directions. As many crystals form from the seeding
of a single crystal, so did the Universe crystallize into billions
of separate galaxies dancing in the Void. They looked like countless
jewels strewn through the blackness, each twinkling with its own
inner brilliance and light.
The Universe was Yang then and peace and harmony prevailed everywhere.
It was a wondrous time of beauty and achievement in the name of
the Father. But the designs of the father were much larger and
far-reaching then we knew. A new energy was introduced into the
Heavens, the energy of Yin. I watched as dark bodies were spawned
from my suns, condensing to form solid spheres orbiting their
bright centers and I was troubled. My work was changing and the
change seemed somehow ominous.
I was not alone in my discontent. Many of my brothers were also
dismayed. We watched as the orbs cooled and solidified, each spinning
as they traced their individual circuits around the blazing suns.
How could the Father have allowed this to happen? Our work was
being desecrated! My pride turned to unease and my unease became
apprehension. There were whisperings that a movement was forming.
We must not allow this pollution to occur. After all, we were
the architects and designers. We had done the work, which had
led to this perfection. Now we must keep it pure as intended by
the Father. It was our duty! We must rescue creation.
It seemed like a simple task. At first, we adjusted the orbits
of the planets ever so slightly, which would send them crashing
into their suns or hurling out into the Void. The sun would incinerate
the obscene balls of matter or the Void would swallow them up.
But once the planet was liquefied in the sun's brilliance, an
eruption would occur and multiple explosions would create new
pockets of gas. These would again cool and solidify to form new
planets. Those sent into the void would again return and encircle
their respective suns. Only the length of their orbital cycles
could be altered. We could not disrupt the cycle itself. Occasionally,
we would cause one planet to impact into another and it would
be shatter into pieces. But this gave no lasting reduction of
dark bodies and was also exceedingly difficult to do. There seemed
to be no way to halt the contamination.
We began to focus on the planets themselves. There was great diversity
in their composition and size. Some were small and dense, almost
insignificant, while others were gigantic gaseous spheres. Most
were, of course, puny by comparison to the suns they orbited.
They seemed to be made up of denser particles than the suns. They
had no inner brilliance, but would sometimes reflect the sun's
light in dazzling arrays of colors and patterns. Many of our brothers
began to claim the suns with their surrounding orbs as their own.
They gave them names and traded them with each other. Some systems
seemed to be considered more valuable than others, due to their
surrounding planets. They began to immerse themselves in their
acquisitions and became more and more distant from our collective
consciousness, until they disappeared from it entirely. But these
brothers lost sight of the larger goal. The rest of us continued
to study these curious bodies.
As I mentioned before, I had worked in the creation of the Sunshine
Galaxy, as it became known. Many considered it the crown jewel
of the Heavens. With a billion suns, it was millions of light
years across and spun through space in an elegant, disk-like,
pinwheel formation. The suns were concentrated more closely in
the center and placed further apart as one moved to the outer
rim. It was magnificent in both form and design. Imagine my dismay
as friends informed me that others were beginning to claim major
systems in my Galaxy. I had never before thought of it as mine.
Everything was for the joy of everyone, all created by the Father.
Now, however, someone seemed to be intruding on my enjoyment of
my Galaxy. This needed to be inspected.
The infractions had occurred in an outer leg of the galaxy, but
were now consuming star systems at an alarming rate. I resolved
to go there and investigate the situation myself. Making that
my intention, I was there in a moment. Others immediately joined
me, whom I could only conclude were the "invaders".
"Who are you?" I thought forcefully. I did not intend
my thought to be a challenge. I was only collecting information.
To my surprise and disbelief, there was no response from the others.
There was nothing, except the certainty of their presence. This
was my first experience with someone not connected to the collective
consciousness. The only communication was at an emotional level.
Two patterns I did not know hovered in space between us. They
were distorted and malformed, like planets colliding. Their shapes
intertwined producing sharp projections, which protruded in my
direction. This was more than I was prepared for. I had to reflect
on this.
In an instant I returned back across the Sunshine Galaxy to the
system had made my base. My brothers were also astonished as my
thought flowed with details of the encounter. Beings who were
separate from consciousness! How could that be? Could there be
more than one consciousness? They obviously could understand each
other. Their wills were united as one. Their intention was clear.
I understood the language of intention. It was how we moved matter,
causing it to conform to our purpose. With it, we shaped the pathways
directing Spirit's flow. I had never experienced it, however,
focused on a being. What were those two emotional patterns they
conveyed? The shapes were not pleasing. They felt
shadowed.
I knew the pleasing forms of love, appreciation and gratitude.
Those patterns abound in the Universe, but these were different.
They did not travel far from their senders, but returned to them,
lodging like sticky patches in their waveforms. It was clear that
this phenomenon needed to be more thoroughly examined. We concluded
that this time, all would go and observe. Suddenly, disturbing
images of dark planets surrounding bright suns appeared in our
collective mind.
To be continued . . .
